PROCESS

(as a freelancer I am used to adapt to the project team requirements quickly. I work as an integral part in a team with close communication or as an external workforce that adds expertise to a team. This project process description is only an example on how a project can progress.)

01 Contact

call or mail me your idea with a short description, I'll answer asap to schedule for a briefing

02 Briefing

You read the brief and based on it i will name developing cost and a timeframe. adding adjustments and clarification, we approve the final result and conclude an agreement.

03 analysis

I start analysing based on the briefing and goal, this might include, advanced research, competitive analysis, patent research, market analysis...
then we will review the analysis together and focus on most relevant aspects

04 concept

after laying out the framework, I will create ~5 concept ideas and visualize them in a presentation to explain them to you in a concept freeze where we fix one concept to follow through

05 DESIGN

first I will create packages which we will discuss before continuing, then I start creating different designs, the technical functionality and the hull around it. This Phase ends with a design freeze where we fixate an aesthetic and functional design.

06 Development

to finalise the product I will consult and support your engineering team, to find constructive solutions to realise the products functionality and aesthetic appeal up to serial production. This Phase usually takes the longest, sometimes, many design iterations and solutions need to be explored to find the final touch.

07 finalize

when each part of the product is designed, I can further support your engineering team with in detail construction.
